What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of SEC Reporting position at ICX Group?
ICX Group is recruiting for a Director of SEC Financial Reporting for a growing company in the Florida. The Director of SEC Reporting will be responsible for SEC Reporting, Accounting Policies, Technical Accounting, Consolidations and General Ledger. This position has excellent visibility to upper management and reports directly to the CAO.
Job Duties:
- Direct and oversee the preparation and distribution of internal and external financial reports including 10Q, 10K, etc.
- Review and offer process improvements on current accounting policies and practices. Ensure there is consistency with all corporate policies and procedures
- Prepare the company’s consolidated financial statements.
- Monitor and evaluate financial reporting risks
- Asist with preparation and review the company’s operational budget and forecast
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and prepare technical memos that document issues in a clear manner
- Communicate and coordinate with the External auditors
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA required
- 8 years experience
- Experience managing and leading teams
- Big 4/Large Public accounting firm experience preferred
