The Safety Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring company vehicles, equipment, and employees comply with local, state, and federal regulations. This role oversees the driver safety program, conducts training and skill assessments, and maintains DOT and FMCSA compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and resolve driver compliance issues in a timely manner.
- Manage internal and external DOT/FMCSA compliance reporting.
- Investigate incidents, make recommendations on corrective actions, and monitor ELDs for HOS violations.
- Implement and monitor compliance controls, procedures, and operational processes.
- Analyze performance indicators, provide guidance, and oversee communications related to FMCSA scores.
