Salary: $27 to $36 per hour
Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance our brand's visibility and engagement with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional writing and editing skills, a strong understanding of social media platforms, and an ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.
- Create, edit, and distribute high-quality content for various channels, including newsletters, press releases, and social media.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring timely updates and engagement with followers.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, workshops, and campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public relations activities and outcomes for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create compelling narratives that align with our objectives.
Qualities We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using social media platforms and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships.
