You will drive the development, design, and delivery of high-quality, custom-engineered liquid filling solutions for our industrial customers. This position will oversee engineers in both Eagan, MN and Madison, WI.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction for mechanical and electrical engineering teams across multiple sites.
- Oversee the design of custom liquid filling equipment, including fluid handling systems, PLC-based control systems, and adherence to relevant industry standards (ASME, UL, NEC, C1/D1, etc.).
- Lead team development, foster an empowered culture, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.
- Manage product line development, innovation roadmaps, and engineering systems (CAD, PDM).
- Ensure rigorous design reviews, technical audits, and compliance with customer specifications and contract scope.
- Drive strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to organizational leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and experience:
- 10 years of engineering management experience with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage the custom design work required to efficiently develop unique, project-based solutions tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, electro-mechanical integration, fluid dynamics and process engineering.
- Demonstrated success in developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in the oversight and optimization of engineering design tools, including SolidWorks and PDM, to maximize engineering efficiency and data accuracy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commit to safety and quality.
