Campbell Fittings is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk at Campbell Fittings, part of the Ideal Tridon Group family, you will assist with managing accounts payable functions of the company. You will be expected to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Your role will be critical in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supports the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts payable department
- Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed
- Records and processes payments for vendor invoices in accordance with internal accounting policies and oversees payment schedules
- Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Responds to vendor inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies in billings and payments
- Maintain electronic file cabinet
- Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries
- Assist with Accounts Receivable duties when needed.
- Special projects and ad hoc requests.
- Performs other related or additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills with top-notch follow-up and follow-through.

- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or certificate in accounting preferred
- 1 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment a plus
Training Requirements:
- Macola, Department SOP
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional walking, sedentary, conceptual work
