What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Dept. Operator position at IDI Fabrication Inc.?

Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for operating CNC Router or Mechanical Punch Press.
· Make minor adjustments to fabrication equipment being operated.
· Follow production packet, blueprints and routing instructions to determine machine adjustments as needed.
· Dimensionally & visually inspects parts for conformance to customers specifications using calipers, micrometers & other gauges.
· Document inspection readings.
Job Requirements:
· Basic mathematics and good communication skills.
· Ability to keep working area clean and organized
· Manufacturing experience is preferred.
· Previous experience with a CNC machine is a plus
· Experience with caliper & micrometer is preferred
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Can work overtime and weekend occasionally
· Reliably get transportation to and from work
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
· Ability to work on feet for an extended amount of time
· Can reach, push and pull at least 50 lbs.

Pay: $21.46 - $22.65 per hour
