Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Senior Manager, Accounting Policy :
- Provide support to international operations related to local / US GAAP conversion and other technical matters
- Provide technical accounting guidance and expertise to business leaders and / or the business development team to support special projects
- Lead efforts to implement new accounting standards as they become effective.
- Assist in reviews of external filings to provide policy viewpoint and technical accounting support.
- Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards.
- Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.
