Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:
- Engage in a 12-month contract with potential for extension or permanent placement
- Work in a hybrid model, with three days a week on-site at our client's location in Carrollton
- Leverage your expertise in enterprise network engineering within a data center environment
- Utilize your skills with Cisco Nexus 7k, 9k, Catalyst routers, and Meraki
- Apply your deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Required Skills for Network Engineer:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an enterprise Network Engineer with Data Center experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cisco Nexus 7k, 9k, Catalyst routers, and Meraki
- Preferred certifications: CCNE, CCNA, or CCNP
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
