Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage and optimize tool and die operations, including design, fabrication, and maintenance of tools and dies used in manufacturing processes.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Lead plant turnaround initiatives, diagnosing inefficiencies and implementing strategic improvements.
- Supervise and coordinate production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of workplace safety.
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximizing productivity.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, building a high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, or similar role.
- Extensive experience in tool and die making, with a strong understanding of design, fabrication, and maintenance processes.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing quality control systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading plant turnarounds with measurable improvements in productivity and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
