What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial System Consultant SME position at IFAS LLC?
Essential Job Functions:
We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and a high level of demonstrated user expertise in SAP and/or RRACS systems, and experience researching legislature and guidance for federal accounting and federal financial reporting such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, FASAB, SFFAS, OMB Circulars, Treasury Financial Manual, USSGL, the CFO Act, and best practices. The individual shall have demonstrated proficiency with software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, Power Query, Tableau, Business Objects). They shall have proven experience reviewing and developing posting models, providing audit deliverables and process walkthroughs, providing training, writing procedures, and developing process maps. The contractor shall have experience with financial reporting and using Treasury systems including CARS, GTAS, and TIER.
Qualifications:
BS Accounting 5 years of experience, 3 years working Federal Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, techniques, and practices, experience in SAP Federal Financial Management and Procurement Software. Knowledge of the current IRS accounting systems and environment and tax processing is beneficial.
Qualify for Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) Security Clearance.
