Regional Director - Southwest Region

The position of a Regional Director (RD) is remote, but will require frequent travel between the following iFLY locations:
- Hollywood, CA
- Ontario, CA
- San Diego, CA
- Phoenix, AZ
The Regional Director’s primary responsibilities are to maximize revenue and profitability for their region delivering world class safety, sales, and service. The RD will hire, develop and retain top-tier store management and staff and provide coaching and an environment of continuous improvement. Other objectives include the execution of required administrative, logistical, maintenance management, and other Ops-support functions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain ownership of the region’s profit and loss performance through internal tracking systems.
- Review store-wide and individual-level scorecards/dashboards daily, weekly, monthly and work-with the GMs (live and via video-call) to meet and exceed budget and close gaps as needed.
- Ensure General Managers (GMs) at each location are administering and implementing the iFLY Operations Playbook to challenge their teams to continuously look for and execute incremental revenue and profit maximizing activities.
- Coach, teach, develop, and mentor GMs and other leaders in safety, sales, and service by utilizing 360 feedback processes.
- Visit locations regularly and ensure staff are performing their responsibilities and metrics to standard.
- Keep GMs motivation high by fostering competition between locations.
- Exhibit constant professionalism and a positive attitude while adhering to the highest ethical standards – and ensure those traits are exhibited by all reporting team members.
- Follow and enforce iFLY’s policies and procedures as describes in the Team Member Handbook.
- Oversee monthly spend for each location and mitigate budget line items within iFLY policies & approvals, including local marketing.
- Continue to inspire and be inspired to try new ideas, test the success thereof, fail fast, and try again until it is correct, or the idea is exhausted.
Metrics – To measure success in these objectives, the following financial and operational metrics will be used.
Financial metrics include
- Revenue
- EBITDA
- Foot traffic
- Meeting regional budgets year-over-year
Operational metrics include
- Safety (per industry standards)
- Sales ( e.g., conversion rates for add-ons, upgrades, and returns
- Service (e,g,. NPS, public customer reviews)
- Cost (e.g., COGS, labor)
- People (e.g., turnover, culture)
Qualitative measurement includes
- Interpreting customer comments/reviews
- Observing Tunnel Team Members perform their duties in safety, sales, and service
- Influence on culture
What Success Looks Like:
- The RD is accountable for the region’s performance. This role will balance running a structured playbook, while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit that looks for opportunities to grow and win.
- A successful RD will be admired by their Team Members for inspiring their team, while challenging their team to develop and to achieve.
- The RD will exhibit ownership of the results, regardless of the outcome.
