Provides courteous, friendly greetings and interactions with all customers as they approach the department. Creates a conducive sales environment using refined selling techniques.
Prepares knife-ready products for sale (slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, and pricing) according to Lowes Foods standards.
Assists in product receiving, inventory management, and storage operations.
Priced, stocked, and rotated frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas to ensure optimal visibility and freshness.
Maintains strict safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come into contact with meat/seafood and prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
Ensures high-quality and freshness of products available for sale, verifying all products are within their expiration dates.
Communicates shrinkage issues and customer requests/concerns to management in a timely manner.
Makes public announcements for promotions and special offers in the meat/seafood department.
