The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with customers, provide exceptional service, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in our meat department.
Responsibilities:
• Provide top-notch customer service by being polite, friendly, and approachable at all times.
• Prepare products for sale by cutting, weighing, trimming, and pricing according to Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, rotate stock, and ensure that all products are properly dated and stored in a clean and safe environment.
• Meet or exceed sales targets through effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Perform tasks such as receiving and storing products, communicating temperature failures to supervisors, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
Qualifications:
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly, stand for extended periods, and bend, kneel, and move around comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in meat cutting and sales is an asset, but not required. We offer on-the-job training to help you develop your skills and reach your full potential.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and adhere to strict safety protocols.
