- Pay: $21 per hour
- Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Overtime as needed
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles, primarily Semi Trucks to deliver and transport goods safely and efficiently within the yard. This includes backing up into the docks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and a commitment to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Safely operate Semi Truck to maneuver and organize yard for unloaders
- Load and unload goods using sit down clamp forklift as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy-duty vehicles.
- Proven experience Semi Trucks and parking ability
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission.
- Experience with load and unload processes using forklift equipment.
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including lifting and climbing.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.
