Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director in compiling, cleaning, managing, documenting, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to inform practice and decision-making.
  • Assist the Director in the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support planning and decision-making.
  • Coach assigned Student Affairs units in assessment planning, survey design, student learning outcomes, and evaluation techniques.
  • Lead efforts to streamline data collection and reporting for assigned units and serve as a liaison to Student Affairs Technology to ensure ethical integration of campus data.
  • Assist assigned Student Affairs units with strategic planning, goal setting, and annual reporting.
  • Represent Student Affairs on campus committees as assigned.
  • Serve on the Student Affairs Assessment Committee and promote a culture of assessment for Student Affairs units. Serve as co-chair and/or subcommittee chair as needed.
  • Assist with the Student Affairs Research Approval (SARA) process.
  • Supervise student interns as needed.
