Role & Responsibility:

• Preparation of various corporate financial statements, SEC filings, regulatory reporting, benefit plan and other management reports
• Conduct analysis of financial results and account balances to identify and effectively communicate key variance drivers to management
• Assist in projects relating to the adoption of new accounting and regulatory guidance, automation of department processes and controls, and other areas that support executive management decision making
• Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of the Company’s industry, business segments, and operations to support the Company’s financial accounting and reporting process
• Special projects, as assigned

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Dependability and attention to detail along with initiative, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience in public accounting
• CPA certification (if CPA certification is not previously attained, the successful candidate should be willing to pursue)
• MBA or Masters in Accounting
