Our client is seeking a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor.
This is a direct-hire opportunity located in West MI.
Job Summary:
- Provide on-the-plant floor support and leadership to the team to meet production goals and customer quality expectations.
- Team size: 15-20
- 80% of the time on the production floor working with the team.
- Utilize multiple software systems to produce production reports, and hotlists, analyze information, and determine the order of work to be completed.
- Fully understand the production process and logistics to appropriately plan and anticipate production and staffing needs.
- Coordinate communication with team members, operation shift managers, and company leadership.
- Train, coach, and support team members.
Expectations:
- Create a strong team, and ensure all team members are trained to perform job tasks safely and correctly.
- Effectively train, communicate, coach, and develop your team.
- Provided day-to-day leadership for all activities on your shift and communicated effectively with shift supervisors, operations leaders, and division leaders.
- Work with scheduling and logistics to ensure the achievement of daily production and quality goals.
- Ensure team members are accountable for safety, production, quality, and policies and procedures.

- Communicate company news and issues to team members.
- Drive efficiency, and standards and ensure all processes and procedures are followed.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelors' Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong People skills - Must work through the team to achieve goals
- ISO knowledge and experience helpful
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
- Strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
