Junior-Mid Level Associate Attorney - Construction Litigation
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Our client, a highly-respected Southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their growing Construction, Development & Condemnation Litigation Practice Group in Charleston. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of complex construction litigation matters in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in South Carolina.
- 1–6 years of experience in complex construction litigation.
- Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and handling discovery, including depositions.
- Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex construction litigation matters, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both federal and state courts.
- Handle a broad spectrum of litigation tasks, from drafting pleadings to arguing motions and conducting depositions.
- Advise and assist clients in the negotiation, preparation, and review of construction contracts.
- Engage with clients and collaborate with a dynamic and experienced practice group.
