- Bar Admission in South Carolina.
- 1–6 years of substantive experience in complex litigation.
- Experience in construction law is a plus, but not required.
- Experience representing parties in complex litigation, including managing discovery, depositions, motions practice, trial preparation, and attending hearings.
- Strong communication, research, and writing skills.
- Represent clients in litigation matters related to construction disputes, including defective work, delays, contract claims, and design defects.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and preparing for trial.
- Advise clients on contract negotiation, risk management, and regulatory compliance to help prevent disputes before they arise.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both federal and state courts.
- Advocate for clients before government regulatory bodies on licensing and building code issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
