Inboden Environmental Services (IES) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QAQC) Manager to join our team. The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) and regulatory requirements, developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and overseeing all QA activities within the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct annual audits of QAQC activities to ensure compliance.
- Data Evaluation: Objectively evaluate data and perform assessments without external influence.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommend, develop, and implement corrective action plans in cooperation with the Lab Manager and Lab Director.
- SOP Development: Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs appropriate to the procedures employed within the laboratory.
- Resource Management: Identify and procure resources needed to meet QA requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory agency requirements are met.
- Proficiency Testing: Ensure laboratory sections perform necessary tasks to complete proficiency testing required for certification and accreditation.
- Corrective Actions: Monitor all corrective actions and their effectiveness.
Job Duties:
- Conduct internal audits and evaluate laboratory procedures.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans.
- Perform, oversee, and review quality control and assurance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA/QC role within a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and objectively.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
