Inclusively is partnering with a ride share company to hire a Regulatory Compliance. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with regulators to determine relevant requirements, and negotiate and advocate for favorable interpretations and adoption of rules that benefit and its customers
- Research and advise on regulatory compliance issues that impact Operations, Marketing, Finance and Product teams
- Communicate regulatory compliance requirements and offer guidance to other teams including Communications, Product, Public Policy, Customer Support, and other teams within the Legal Department
- Evaluate product initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
- Gather and synthesize data relating to compliance requirements.
Experience:
- J.D. from a top-tier law school
- Admitted to the New York or California Bar in good standing or eligible to register as In-House Counsel
- 5-8 years of experience working as an attorney, with experience working in-house, with a government agency, or at a law firm advising technology companies as outside counsel
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think both tactically and strategically
- Ability to set priorities and respond to changing demands from multiple internal and external sources under demanding deadlines
- Experience working in regulation of transportation or with federal contracting preferred but not required.
