What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHS Specialist position at INCOG BioPharma Services?

- Effectively coach and develop supervisors and leaders to be effective EHS leaders/coaches in their respective positions
- Analyze conditions and behaviors and recommend changes to continuously improve Site EHS performance.
- Collect and analyze EHS data and report metrics and findings to the business
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure site compliance with company and regulatory agencies’ requirements.
- Maintain compliance with key environmental regulations (air, waste, water).
- Complete environmental reporting with respect to company and regulatory requirements, tracking progress toward goals and driving continuous improvement actions
- Administer and support health and safety programs covered under OSHA 1910 regulations that include: HAZCOM, confined space, industrial hygiene, PPE, emergency action planning, among many others.
- Drive excellence through active participation to adopt a - ZERO TOLERANCE MENTALITY- toward losses.
- Ensure thorough investigation of all near misses and incidents and provide expertise and support to all investigations while driving corrective actions to eliminate and prevent reoccurrence.
- Track EHS related internal and external audit corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely completion.
- Partner with operations, engineering and other functions to support company objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective preventative and corrective measures for identified hazards.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating contractor compliance with EHS and site policies and provide recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Provide support and oversight of ongoing expansion projects (design reviews, contractor management, work permits, and many more).
Special Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a relevant field
- 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers, and all levels of the organization.
Additional Preferences:
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- Professional certification ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.,
- Strong knowledge of local, state and federal EHS regulations
- Possess strong organizational, leadership and time management skills

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
