Independent Living Partners (ILPS) is seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment and Training Specialist to join our team. ILPS is a person-centered social services agency. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to recruit new staff.
- Review candidate applications on job boards daily.
- Conduct screenings and schedule interviews with potential candidates.
- Hire and onboard new staff.
- Coordinate with Program Directors and the Employee Coordinator to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
- Email onboarding documents to new hires or have them complete onboarding paperwork in the office.
- Conduct background checks to verify eligibility for working with clients.
- Facilitate in-office orientation sessions for new employees.
- Review DHS and company policies with new staff.
- Ensure new employees complete the required 245D training.
- Assign new staff to compatible clients promptly and secure their desired weekly hours.
- Assist new staff in creating weekly work schedules that align with their clients' needs.
- Maintain open communication with potential staff.
- Manage all aspects of HR and office tasks.
- Oversee employee compliance, including file audits and necessary file corrections.
- Train new staff and clients on how to use the EVV app.
- Review and respond to MNUI notices.
- Add new staff and clients to the billing and HR platform (EVV).
- Track new client referrals and match them with appropriate staff.
- Respond to phone calls and emails from clients and case managers via the agency website or office phone.
- Responsible for all aspects of HR
General
- Provide support to program directors, supervisors, and administration.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit patience and understanding for individuals experiencing pain or mental health challenges.
- Have experience with disability programs and services.
- Be familiar with working alongside case managers and care coordinators.
Qualifications
- Two years of recruitment, hiring and training experience
- Minimum of one year of designated coordinator experience.
- Four years of experience supervising an IHS/ILS team.
- Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older.
Required Training After Hiring:
- Pass the DHS NET Study 2.0 criminal background check before providing services.
- Complete the QP training within six months of hire (Steps for Success).
- Complete HR & 245D training

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
