Position Summary
The Provider Training Specialist will develop educational materials to train the Provider Network (including Long-Term Care and Acute Care Providers). Also, will deliver training programs based on Plan and State requirements to keep Providers abreast of Plan Operations and Regulatory updates.
Essential Functions
- Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare Provider Education materials and create educational plans to ensure that the Provider Network is trained.
- Conduct Provider Training in accordance with the needs of the Network which will include monthly, quarterly and annual provider events / meetings by regional area.
- Refresh Training materials and keep material up to date in compliance with Plan Operations and regulatory mandates from AHCA.
- Responsible for AHCA Provider Training Reports including the annual Provider Abuse Neglect & Exploitation Training Report.
- Work in conjunction with other departments; Case Management, Claims, Utilization Management etc. to foster strong provider relationships.
- Responsible for sourcing qualified vendors and venues for Provider events.
- Develop web-based New Provider Orientation training to be hosted monthly with training dates posted on Training calendar on FCC website.
- Participate in provider outreach as needed in effort to collaborate with Providers to further their understanding of FCC / ILS and foster provider partnerships.
- Attend Industry events and annual conferences to further foster relationships with Network Providers.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience in Provider Education and Marketing
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
Required Skills
- Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required. Proficient use of virtual meeting tools (such as WebEx, GoToMeeting) preferred.
- Salesforce Experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Strong Computer Skills and technology savvy with the ability to work remotely preferred.
- Familiarity with a corporate Learning Management Solution/training software preferred.
