Independent Rx Consulting (IRx) is looking for accounting and tax professionals to work with our growing base of pharmacy clients. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting books for multiple clients
- Build good working relationships with business owners
- Review routine transactions and record complex transactions
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Review payroll and related benefit entries
- Understand business financing and tie out loan balances and record payments based upon amortization schedules
- Finalize and review monthly financial statements and publish those statements to clients in a timely manner
- Prepare entity level federal income tax, state income tax, and sales tax returns
- Learn the business of pharmacy and become a valued resource to pharmacy owners and operators
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Previous experience in accounting and tax preparation or other related fields
- Clear understanding of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet and ability to record journal entries
- Highly comfortable and competent with all technology (G Suite, Microsoft Office, Xero, and QuickBooks are a few technology solutions we use regularly)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the inclination to build relationships with co-workers and clients
- Well organized, motivated to succeed, problem solver
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Most importantly a desire to work as a team, learn, do a great job, and have fun in the process

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
