Job Title: Locker Room Staff
Location: Indian Hills Country Club Mission Hills, Kansas
Department: Locker Rooms
Reports To: Locker Room Manager
Job Summary:
The locker room attendant is responsible for cleaning, housekeeping, customer service, member interaction, food and beverage service, and communications elements with a locker room setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep all areas of the locker room clean and organized.
- Regularly check and refill all standard toiletries.
- Restock all towel levels as needed.
- Follow the opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
- Take all dirty laundry to the housekeeping laundry room and garbage to the dumpsters.
- Greet and engage all Members and guests, provide and assist them with whatever they need.
- Assign guests a locker if requested.
- Direct them to their next destination.
- Polish all shoes upon request and return them to the proper locker.
- Familiarizing yourself daily with sports, betting lines, golf tee sheet, and activities around the Club.
- Offer food and beverages to all players.
- Serve meals to all Members and guests.
- Accurately record all beverage and snack sales.
- Heavy bartending involved; must be able to prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
Qualifications:
- Ability to work autonomously
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours).
- Must be able to lift 50lbs on occasion
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Organization and time management
- Education:
- High School Diploma
- Experience:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Previous private club or golf course experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Full time
- Part time
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Salary and Benefits:
- 17$-21$ per hour
- Health Benefits after 90 Days Full Time Employees
- 401K Participation and matching after 1 Year Full Time Employees
- Employee golfing available on Mondays
- Staff meals provided during shift
