Your Impact :
This position is a member of the investment team which is responsible for INPRS’ multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. As a member of the Investment Operations Team, the Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for external investment manager compliance and stewardship initiatives relating to proxy voting, restricted securities monitoring, and other legislative matters. The role will collaborate and maintain relationships with a wide variety of industry specialists, third-party vendors, INPRS investment leadership, and other INPRS departments.
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for compliance monitoring of the investment portfolio, manager concentration reporting, and annual policy review process.
- Manage and enhance the existing investment stewardship framework which includes proxy vote reporting and compliance with Investment Policy Statement sections dedicated to fiduciary standards, nonfinancial investment activity, and prohibited securities.
- Evaluate firms capable of providing proxy voting services and recommend a policy that aligns INPRS’s votes with the legal requirements and reporting.
- Advise and collaborate with investment team on stewardship integration of our Investment Managers.
- Routinely review Investment Managers engagement with portfolio companies and industry groups on sensitive matters.
- Engage with third parties, including consultants, peers, and other organizations, to stay informed on all matters relating to compliance and stewardship.
- Prepare and collaborate on presentations and supplemental materials regarding investment compliance and stewardship practices.
- Carry out other investment stewardship duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Chief Investment Officer, Manager of Investment Operations and Director of Investment Stewardship.
