We are seeking a dedicated and capable Medical Administrative Assistant to support the daily administrative needs of a new neurosurgeon with a growing practice. Your duties will include optimizing the patient experience and ensuring the needs of your provider is met in a timely and efficient manner with a specific eye to detail. Critical thinking, active communication and respectful collaboration with patients, physicians and staff are essential for success.
The responsibilities of our Medical Administrative Assistant include (but are not limited to) triaging phone calls, working in our EMR to build orders, schedule clinical visits and surgeries, routing billing, maintaining provider’s calendar and mail, managing administrative processes (business expenses, CME, vitae, presentations, travel, meetings, etc) for assigned provider.

Educational and Experience Required |
Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in medical office or equivalent; 3-5 years physician administrative assistant experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Able to sit for extend periods of time in focused work.
