What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position at Indoteak Design?
Indoteak Design is a small company specializing in Reclaimed Teak products. We have a finish line and millwork shop connected to our office in San Diego! We work on celebrity homes, white-label product development, and much more.
We sell our products to architects, designers, general contractors, homeowners and developers. We are looking for an adaptable bookkeeper & assistant to help us scale our business!
We need a reliable bookkeeper first and foremost - but there's a large opportunity for you to grow and make a large impact on our systems as a company!
By Q2 of 2024 we want to:
- Transition to QuickBooks Online or Sage.
- Configure complex inventory management software to find the true cost of projects.
- Set up CRM Integrations with our accounting software.
- Integrate DocuSign, online payments, automated emails, and more into our sales process.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with management to pay vendor bills and manage cashflow.
- Manage commission payments to our sales representatives.
- Work directly with the sales team to receive payments from customers.
- Work directly with the production manager to create FedEx LTL Freight Shipments.
- Serve as a personal assistant for the owner - this will include note-taking, signing documents on his behalf, and helping with the complexities of our day-to-day.
