Indra USA is seeking a skilled Commercial Sales Manager with experience in transportation to drive commercial activities and business development in the USA and Canada, focusing on the Transit and Rail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and selling technological solutions for public transportation agencies and operators, including experience with Automated Fare Collection (AFC), Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) systems, and Control Centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Promote and lead commercial actions within the USA and Canada to expand Indra’s presence in the urban and interurban transit sectors.
- Client Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with public transportation agencies, operators, and key stakeholders to identify needs and match them with Indra’s solutions.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic commercial plan tailored to the transit market, with a focus on Indra’s technological solutions, including AFC, CAD/AVL, and transit control center solutions.
- Sales and Proposal Development: Lead and support the creation of proposals, presentations, and bids in collaboration with the technical and solutions teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and to leverage technical knowledge in the commercial process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in the transportation sector, specifically in selling technological solutions for public transportation operators.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in AFC, CAD/AVL systems, and Control Centers.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand complex technological solutions and effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Native English speaker, with proficiency in Spanish highly preferred.
