PLC Maintenance -
Location: West Chicago, Illinois - 60185
Duration: 5 months
Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Pay Rate: $55.00/hr. (On W2 Without Benefits)
Requirements:
3-5 years of PLC and maintenance experience
Manufacturing background with experience repairing and testing machines
Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Facility maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, general repairs)
Plusses:
Experience with HVAC systems
IT experience
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to join our team at us for one of our clients' R&D facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming, as well as basic maintenance skills. HVAC experience is a plus. This role involves overseeing facility maintenance, IT, and safety, supporting off-ball experiments and equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management: Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and machinery.
PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Maintenance Support: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment, including CNC operations and dye-cutting machines.
HVAC Maintenance: Provide maintenance support for HVAC systems (preferred but not required).
Equipment Repair: Repair and maintain older equipment, including testing machines and molds used for pressing doors.
Safety and IT Oversight: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide IT support as needed.
