The Opportunity
Working as part of the support team here at IndySoft is unique from other roles available in the world of customer service. Applying to IndySoft means you're invested in providing top tier customer support too.
We are seeking an early-career Technical & Cloud Support Specialist to grow within our company. Your main roles will be to assist external clients by providing basic technical support and assistance via email and phone while working behind the scenes supporting our Cloud infrastructure. Regardless of how you interact with the customer it's about providing a great overall experience for the customer as you are the face of IndySoft.
With all the paths a support ticket can take, it really just means that every day is exciting because you're always engaged and challenged. Your technical support duties will revolve around addressing and responding to customer inquiries on IndySoft products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for providing customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
What a right fit looks like
To be successful in this role, you will need some computer savvy. That doesn't mean you need to write custom sql to solve problems on the backend database, but it does mean you're familiar with how software works and especially how to troubleshoot. Troubleshooting doesn't just extend to the software, but the customer too; we want someone engaged in helping the person on the other end (phone/e-mail/zoom) to really understand the situation and help them through it.
- You are a caring, empathetic individual with some technical knowledge and a desire to learn more!
- You’ve experienced bad customer support before and want to make sure that doesn't happen to anyone else!
- You’re eager to learn and grow in a role that has the opportunity to offer you new and interesting interactions every day.
- Ownership means a lot to you and you want to follow through on any task to gain a resolution no matter the timeframe.
- You're detail oriented and want to make sure anything you helped solve is documented so that if anyone has that issue again, they know the solution.
- You want to troubleshoot their issues and be the voice of the customer in all internal communications while simultaneously conversing with them in an open and honest manner to ensure that they know that their issue is still a priority.
Technical & Cloud Support Specialist Preferred Requirements:
