The purpose of this role is to provide electrical and instrumentation engineering support to our Ashtabula, OH business. This professional will perform three key tasks:
Unit Engineer
- To troubleshoot and maintain the safe and reliable manufacturing of titanium dioxide in a continuous production environment.
Project Engineer
- To design, procure, install and support the execution of routine and capital projects, including managing contractors from an I/E perspective.
Discipline Engineer
- To work closely with the Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering Authorities to interpret and present industry standards and specifications to the site, maintaining best practices and improving documentation.
This position requires a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as excellent communication skills to interface with operators, technicians, staff engineers and contractors.
We are seeking a candidate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience in power electrical and process instrumentation and control. Experience with distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers is required. The successful candidate must be able to support daily operations and perform short-term projects.
