In your new role you will:
- Primary technical interface to customers for understanding their design requirements and propose Infineon solutions for embedded applications. Recommendations will include, but not be limited to, microcontrollers, sensors, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, secure elements, memories and USB.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of ARM Cortex-Mmicrocontroller products and embedded systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, application engineers, marketing and other FAEs to develop long term strategies to enable Infineon products to win sockets.
- Provide design-in support to customers that includes schematic reviews, PCB layout guidance, and system optimization.
- Work with customers on their development process and assist with initial board bring-up.
- Perform debug support of customers hardware/software issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and distribution partners.
- Build strong relationships with customers engineering team to be a trusted advisor to identify and expand new opportunities in assigned accounts.
- Work with design and marketing teams to provide customer feedback and next generation trends to influence future product development.
- BSEE Degree; 2 years of related semiconductor industry experience
- More than 2 years of application engineering orembedded(hardware/software) development experience, preferably in the Consumer markets.
- Experience with different types of embedded systems that use Sensors, Wireless, Secure Elements, USB, Memory technologies.
- Should be able to work with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, FunctionGenerator, Protocol Analyzers, etc. for testing & debugging.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Target oriented mindset with good team player skills.
- Quick learner and high technical orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and analytical problem solver.
- Willing to travel. This role requires up to 50% travel.
