Sr Field Application Engineer

In your new role you will :

• Closely working with sales team, in a self-driven manner, drive demand creation for automotive accounts across applications and the breadth of Infineon product portfolio
• Have interpersonal skills for proficient customer interaction with strong presentation and written communication abilities
• Use digital customer relationship management tools to keep track of customer opportunities and collaborate with other team members
• Provide the premium customer support , that Infineon is known for, while engaging customer engineers and engineering management to build trust-based relationships
• Work with second level support to provide accurate, timely, and quality responses to customer technical support requests
• Use your knowledge of automotive applications and systems to recommend application solutions, design-ideas and products to customer design teams
• Use experience in electronic design and development to review customer schematics and PCB layouts, supporting customers during technical reviews and troubleshooting exercises (including SWdebugging), and support potential quality issues
• Set up, demonstrate and support Infineon product evaluation boards used by customers
• Work in the lab with various test equipment to verify customer issues and to validate solutions and design ideas
• Be knowledgeable of competitor solutions and how they compare to Infineon products and solutions
• Engage with sales and marketing teams to develop value propositions to promote relevant application strategies as appropriate for the given customer
• Be able to adapt to various customer applications and support needs
