Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. They will perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Perform more complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls
- Communicate and provide recommendations for repairs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service Technician certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician preferred
