Position Description:
The AP Accountant provides a wide-range of support with a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and accounting skills that assist the daily business needs of Infinity Solar. This person works collaboratively with internal and external staff, and external constituents.
This role is primarily responsible for a variety of accounting functions, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. They will perform a variety of accounting and financial tasks. Superior analytical skills and the ability to work cohesively with others are a must.
Reporting Relationship:
This position reports to Director of Accounting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Documentation supports timely, accurate processing and payment of invoices
- Review and verify expense reports, review vendor invoices to ensure approvals prior to payment
- Preparing vendor distributions - checks, ACH, and wires
- Review and reconcile past-due outstanding receipts
- Prepare budgets and financial reports weekly and monthly
- Prepare and update AP cash flow forecasts
- Quickly evaluate the portfolio as a whole to ensure cash flow targets are met
- Inventory Management (i.e., Material Receipts, POs, Invoices and Credit Memos, Inventory Materials)
- Purchase orders tracking and keeping records
- Various data entry activities via shared online sheets
- Support team efforts by addressing escalated accounts
- Compiles and performs both routine and complex data analysis
- Any special reports and additional tasks required by Management
- Assist with tax research projects per direction of Management
- Multi-Entity reporting

Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in accounting is required
- Equivalent education/experience may be considered
- Quick book experience required
- A minimum of one to two years related experience in an AP or accountant position
- Advanced computer skills required (i.e., VLookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables, Microsoft, Google)
- Concur expense management software experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
