Position Summary:
Seeking a self-motivated professional to manage tools, conduct legal research, and support training efforts related to sex and violent offender registration in Indiana. The role involves collaborating with law enforcement, documenting historical legal data, and providing committee support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update tools with Indiana Codes, legal briefs, and policies.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw/LexisNexis to support registration determinations.
- Develop training materials and deliver presentations to local law enforcement agencies.
- Support committee operations by documenting meetings, analyzing data, and responding to ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required (Master's preferred).
- 6 years of legal research, training, or project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
