Location : Anderson, SC
Shift : Night Shift (6 PM 6 AM, including weekends and holidays)
Contract Duration : 1 Year (with a possibility of extension up to 36 months)
Work Arrangement : 100% Onsite (No Remote Work)
Job Summary :
IRG Client is seeking a Network Operation s Technician to join the Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) team. This role is critical in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and infrastructure elements to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Network & Infrastructure Monitoring : Utilize tools like Splunk, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Catalyst to monitor, test, and maintain network and system performance.
- Incident & Service Resolution : Diagnose and resolve network, server, and application incidents, escalating to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when necessary.
- System & Network Control : Configure and maintain network / system resources, conduct inspections, and report abnormalities.
- Customer Support & Communication : Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person, ensuring timely support and resolution.
- Network Automation & Maintenance : Assist in implementing automation tools and perform pre-configured port activations on network switches.
- Documentation & Training : Prepare operational documentation, maintain records, and participate in Tier II training and cross-training initiatives.
