We are actively hiring Sterile Processing Technicians with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience and/or certification. The role is based in a fast-paced hospital environment requiring thorough knowledge of instrument sterilization, decontamination, and proper storage techniques. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of following strict infection control procedures.
Position details:
Title: Certified Sterile Processing Tech
- Location: Davenport, IA
- Duration: 13 weeks (Temp to Perm)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Guaranteed hours: 40
- Pay: $1200 to $1320 weekly
Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
- Inspect and maintain inventory of sterile supplies to ensure availability for surgical procedures.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during the handling of sterile items.
- Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of Sterile Processing experience or certification
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Compliance with hospital credentialing and health requirements
