At Ingersoll Rand Careers, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our products.
The Assembly Technician will ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, adhering to quality standards. This role requires the ability to interpret instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc., and follow them with precision.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble vacuum pump packages and systems per general arrangement drawings, P&IDs, BOMs, and data sheets.
- Adhere to 6s (5s) principles, clean, organize, and properly store all equipment.
- Operate Crane and Fork Truck to move equipment and parts.
- Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, in accordance with predetermined standard work.
- Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints.
- Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies, and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
- Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
