About the Role:
The Senior Manager, Innovation and Technology, will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for technology development and commercialization of customized formulations. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate development and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a high-performance technical organization that cultivates an innovation culture and a growth mindset.
- Spearhead technology development and commercialization of customized formulations for customers and market needs within the United States and Canada.
- Lead the development of an ingredient toolbox and work with procurement on sourcing ingredients to offer differentiated solutions with robust supply chains.
- Drive front-end innovation to generate differentiated intellectual property and review strategies for maintaining and defending it.
- Manage relationships and communication between go-to-market teams and operations to ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of product development experience in formulating and process optimization. A broad knowledge of food ingredients, including starches, hydrocolloids, proteins, and sweeteners, is essential. Strong leadership and project management skills are also required, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
