Join our team as a Sales Advisor to bring in new customers and guide them through our home purchasing process.
Experience is not required. We offer a comprehensive training program. (we love teaching ready-to-learn teammates the valuable skills that contribute to their success).
What’s the position like?
- This is a Sales Position. We’re stating the obvious right out of the gates! You will engage in sales activities in this role. That means outbound calls, lots of conversations, in-person interactions, and PROACTIVITY.
- It involves talking to people all day long. If that energizes you because you truly enjoy having conversations with new people, read on.
- You will make lots of Outbound Phone Calls. It means calling people who don’t know you, calling people who have only met you once before, and calling people for the 20th time who you are trying to help connect with a new home. (we call lots of realtors and, of course, leads).
- It involves enthusiastic tonality, great body language. We dress sharply, smile, and bring enthusiasm to our interactions. Sales involves serving others and our presence is the first way we get to do that.
- It requires genuine curiosity and lots of inquiry. Gathering information about what drives people, what they want and need, and why. This is high level sales. Asking questions in the right tonality and listening well is what builds rapport and creates great experiences. We never skip it.
- It requires Proactivity. We serve others and strive for amazing customer experiences, but that doesn’t mean we wait. We follow up, we guide the process, and we ask for the sale proactively. It’s about taking the lead without hard selling or pushing people.
