FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement, the Coordinator will be responsible for positively encouraging a culture of quality and being an ambassador across all factories and throughout the company. The position will include the following responsibilities:
ISO9001 AND QUALITY SYSTEM
- Participate in the maintenance of the ISO-certified quality system and lead projects in collaboration with various departments
- Participate in external audits and coordinate internal audits ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Collaborate in updating quality system documents (processes, procedures, work instructions, forms, etc.) and ensure general documentation management
- Organize training for new inspectors and new employees, as well as ongoing training in production and throughout all levels of the company
•Regularly update quality dashboards and quality system records, conduct analysis of costs related to non-quality
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Participate in improving the quality system and all company processes.
•Participate in Kaizen workshops, when necessary
- Collaborate on product development and modification projects.
INSPECTION
- Work collaboratively with inspectors to ensure that non-conformities are controlled.
- Ensure that the audit of finished products by quality inspectors is conducted weekly and that non-conformities are addressed.
- Hold weekly meetings with quality inspectors and production supervisors to review quality cases
- Conduct a root cause analysis of the manufacturing process when a non-conformity or case is reported, and follow up on corrective/preventive actions
COACHING MEMOS
- Input and track coaching memos, establish trends, and follow up on necessary corrective/preventive actions
- Hold weekly meetings with the production supervisors to review coaching memos and determine necessary actions to take
CUSTOMER CASES
- Utilize the database to compile data, coordinate investigations and required actions, and assess trends
- Use tools such as Ishikawa or the 5 Whys to determine the root cause and preventive actions, document through a Corrective Action Report (CAR), and follow up with relevant departments
- Support the Customer Service team in finding solutions to customer cases
RAW MATERIALS
- Support follow-ups and training related to the acceptability and compliance of raw materials
- Identify trends and conduct sampling as needed during supplier follow-ups
MAINTENANCE
- Track calibrations and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with schedules
- Request corrective maintenance as needed based on non-conformities or incidents found in production
Qualifications and experiences:
- Experience in quality, management, engineering, or related field skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality coordinator role or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
- Experience in an ISO 9001 certified environment
- Understanding of data analysis techniques such as pivot tables, Pareto analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), process mapping, Lean principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: you act as a change agent, involve staff, and solicit feedback
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and process understanding skills
- Team spirit, demonstrated leadership, good judgment
- Demonstrates effective stress management and a high level of autonomy, especially during periods of change.
