Our direct client is looking for an IT Manager- Networking / Infrastructure with 5-10 years of experience

Responsibilities

Our direct client is seeking an experienced IT Manager with 5-10 Years of experience to oversee and enhance our organization's IT operations, with a strong focus on networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto Networks , Microsoft Azure , and Great Plains ERP , as well as experience managing ERP transitions, leading IT teams, and implementing cybersecurity initiatives.

IT Leadership & Strategy :

Lead the IT department, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring system reliability, and aligning IT strategies with organizational goals.

Supervise and mentor IT team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Networking & Infrastructure :

Oversee and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Manage and troubleshoot networking hardware and software, with a focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls and solutions.

Cloud & Systems Management :

Administer and optimize the organization's cloud environment, particularly Microsoft Azure , to support scalability and efficiency.

Implement best practices for system administration, ensuring availability, performance, and security of IT resources.

ERP Oversight :

Lead and manage ERP-related projects, including the oversight of ERP system changes and migrations (experience with Great Plains ERP required).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ERP integration with other business systems.

Cybersecurity Initiatives :

Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect the organization's data and systems.

Monitor and respond to potential threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management :

Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring delivery of high-quality services and products.

Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related concerns across all departments.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years in IT management roles, with demonstrated experience in :

Networking and firewalls (expertise with Palo Alto Networks required).

Cloud computing platforms ( Microsoft Azure ).

ERP systems, particularly Great Plains , including successful ERP migration projects.

Proven track record of leading IT teams and managing complex projects.

Skills :

In-depth knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity principles, and system integration.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Certifications (Preferred) :

Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).

Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications.

Pay Range

140K-160K Bonus Benefits 401K PTO

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
