Job Title:Operations Manager
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Contract Management of the equipment listed under the agreement with the Customer. Supports the Director/VP of Operations with overseeing the overall contract management of selected devices for the purpose of providing a quality, cost effective program that meets or exceeds the quality and financial expectations of the customer and TKA’s National Clinical Engineering Program. This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Director in providing the customer with an aggressive clinical engineering program that lowers their annual maintenance cost, increases equipment life cycles, and above all, provides the highest level of customer service, provides input in how to accomplish these tasks. This position provides assistance with technology assessments, capital purchasing, and equipment safety.
Key Responsibilities
Provides feedback to the Director/VP of Operations to ensure financial performance of department by conducting regular department head visits and meetings to review performance of Clinical Engineering program of equipment under the agreement; maintaining PM/CM completion at or above expectations; being actively involved in capital asset planning, purchasing, etc., and other committees as assigned; conducting customer satisfaction surveys as required.
Supports the Director/VP of Operations to ensure TKA financial performance by attaining all expense budgets and cost containment targets; ensuring that expenditure authority and level are adhered to; and forwarding, in a timely manner, all appropriate PO’s, invoices and financial details to the appropriate sources.
Works closely with the Director/VP of Operations to ensure smooth communications and reporting to and from each account as applicable. This includes assisting and/or managing and conducting all necessary meetings with facility administration and forwarding all positive and negative customer/vendor communications to the designated supervisor for review.
Networks with peers to gain innovative ideas and sourcing of information.
Works closely with the Director/VP of Operations to grow the program by gaining the confidence of clinical department heads and maintaining positive relationships.
Will meet with the Director/VP of Operations to operational review of the department on a scheduled basis.
Will take first call response for equipment covered under existing agreement.
