What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developmental Disabilities Paraprofessional position at Innovative Health Care Concepts Inc.?
The Learning Center, a division of Innovative Health Care, is seeking an energetic, caring individual to join our team at our adult developmental disabilities center.
No nights or weekends required!
Current opening is for 10 to 30 hours per week. Starting wage is $13.00 to $16.00, DOE. Experience working in a DDA is preferred.
We are a small but thriving program, giving you the opportunity to really get to know our participants and have a meaningful impact in their lives!
Job duties:
- Provide supervision and life skill training;
- Implement a behavior plan as needed;
- Accompany participants on community outings;
- Assist participants in taking part in social/leisure activities.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old;
- High school diploma or GED;
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation;
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to certify;
- Able to pass fingerprint-based background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
