Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Data Systems is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Field Technician. The responsibilities for this role include, and are not limited, to assist with the onsite-project duties from preconstructions throughout project closeout. Responsible for the installation of data centers components and sound control devices. A Field Technician will need to possess strong knowledge of hand/power tools and measuring equipment and the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Safety is an important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of construction experience in the Racking/ Supply Chain industry or Commercial/Industrial construction
- Read and understand blueprints and/or basic schematics
- Traveling is required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Knowledge in use of tools and equipment utilized for Commercial and Industrial construction
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Graduate/GED and /or combination of education and experience
- Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred
- Construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10, Forklift and Scissor lift certification preferred
