Position Overview
As an Investor Relations Manager, you will work closely with the Capital Markets team to support our growing investor base. This position focuses on enhancing shareholder value and the company's image within the investment community through effective communication and relationship management with investors and analysts.
Role Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be the primary contact for esteemed investors following their initial investment commitment
- Key responsibilities include managing all post-transaction activities, ensuring seamless communication, and fostering strong investor relationships
- Transaction Management: Oversee the execution of subscription agreements, capital call notifications, and transfer documentation
- Data Room Management: Coordinate with internal team on updating available information, manage investor access, and ensure compliant record keeping
- Investor Documentation: Facilitate the collection and verification of required investor documents
- Coordination: Work closely with the Financial Operations Team and Legal and Compliance Team to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service
- Inquiry Resolution: Address investor inquiries and concerns, providing clear and professional explanations
- Issue Resolution: Gather relevant information from internal teams to efficiently resolve investor issues
- Relationship Building: Participate in investor events and meetings to strengthen existing relationships and develop new ones
- Proactive Communication: Regularly update investors to keep them informed and engaged
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years’ experience
- Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services, particularly in wealth management or private banking, and will be adept at building deep investor relationships
- Experience with mutual funds or as an institutional fund manager and due diligence
- Series 1 or Series 65 licensing preferred
