JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to join a large financial services client. In this role you will be responsible for processing a variety of financial events, including voluntary and mandatory events, fixed income, class actions, bankruptcy, proxy, and physical securities processing. You will provide exceptional client service to our outsourcing clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your duties will include performing various reorganization events to ensure timely and accurate payments while mitigating risk and exposure to the firm. You will monitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordingly and identify potential risk scenarios, implementing controls to minimize operational risk. Additionally, you will create, maintain, and adhere to all client-related Detailed Function Lists and Service Level Agreements. Prioritizing deliverables and responsibilities will be essential to meet client and organizational needs. Effective communication across departments, with staff, senior management, and clients, is crucial. You will also represent the Managed Services team at monthly Business Governance Committee meetings and industry events. Tracking metrics to ensure activities are submitted timely and accurately will be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years experience with processing Voluntary Corporate Actions and events
- Voluntary ReOrg event experience
- DTC Corp Actions processing functions and broker dealer operations
- Experience with BPS settlement systems and REOR (Apex Online) systems
- Bachelors Degree
